Decisions...decisions

I probably have on of the biggest decisions of my life to make right now. I know that going on this new medication will probably be a good thing for me but what will it do to me other than the good? What I'm reading is that one of the unpublished side effects has been significant hair loss. Now I know that not everyone experiences this but I don't want to be one of those that does. The other thing that gets me is the amount of money I will possibly be in debt if and when I start this. I think this sucks more because this decision is all up to me and no one else. I just need some guidance or something. Help...
